New Building for English In Action: Expanding Impact in the Roaring Fork Valley
English In Action, a Roaring Fork Valley nonprofit, empowers Spanish-speaking residents by reducing language barriers through personalized tutoring and community programs. The organization is planning a new building that will significantly enhance its ability to serve the community. Key improvements include:
- Accommodating larger public events and volunteer trainings for groups of 20–60 people
- Offering multiple classes simultaneously to reach more participants
- Providing versatile, private spaces for one-on-one tutoring
- Creating a safe, engaging play area for children accompanying their parents
- Enhancing staff efficiency with flexible, collaborative workspaces
- Upgrading kitchen facilities to prepare and share meals with participants
This new space will allow English In Action to deepen its mission of building language skills, fostering cross-cultural connections, and supporting immigrant families in pursuing their goals.
